From the 23rd to the 27th of November 2009, the administration team of the Chinese Campus of L’Ecole de design Nantes Atlantique came and visit several Qingdao based design school to explain them how design teaching is organised in France.
Since their education system, in China, is really different, students from Qingdao Technological University 青岛理工大学, Ocean University of China 青岛海洋大学, Qingdao University of Science & Technology 青岛科技大学 and Qingdao University 青岛大学 were really interested in these presentations. [Read more →]

From the 23rd to the 27th of November, Frédéric Bonin, the Head of Studies of China Campus, lead a design workshop at EM Lyon Shanghai, a top-tier French “Grande Ecole” teaching Management at a Master’s degree level. On the 30th of November 2009, the 5th year students of L’Ecole de design Nantes Atlantique visited Supor 苏泊尔 factory. Based in Hangzhou, 2 hours away from Shanghai, this factory produces small kitchen appliances such as rice cookers. It also hosts the Strategic Marketing and R&D centres of the China top-tier company. [Read more →]

On the 30th of December 2009, the 5th year students of the Chinese design school of L’Ecole de design Nantes Atlantique visited Hangzhou 杭州, one of the Chinese citizens favourite town in China.

On Friday the 30th of October, Lynnette Chan came and taught Project Management to the 5th-year students.
After studying industrial design at Nanyang Polytechnic in Singapore, Lynnette worked for the best design companies such has IDEO in Shanghai. She then worked for Asentio, a Shanghai based multidisciplinary design studio.
She’s now a Human Centred Design Consultant in Shanghai. [Read more →]

From the 19th to the 23rd of October 2009, L’Ecole de design Nantes Atlantique’s 5th year students will work with Shandong University of Art and Design 山东工艺美术学院 students on a project lead by the R&D Center of Seb-Supor.
Seb-Supor 苏泊尔 is a joint venture that was created in 2006. Founded in 1994, Supor is the leader of the cookware market in China and the third largest cookware company in the world. Its headquarters are in Hangzhou 杭州, in Zhejiang province 浙江省 near Shanghai. It owns six production sites and more than 7,000 employees worldwide.
